I am very disappointed with the service that godaddy offers, its like talking to a bunch of chimpanzees that have no idea what they're talking about and obviously bumping heads into one another.
1. I've had an SSL installed, I can't tell you how many times they've asked me to rekey the certificate then tell me THE CUSTOMER that I did it wrong and I need to follow some simple instructions to do it right. Well wake up customer service, I keep following the rules you set in place, but every time I talk to someone new I get a completely different response followed by OH you did it wrong. 4 days later, still waiting for the SSL.
2. I have been trying to add a CNAME from my deals sub to another URL which the lady on chat keeps telling me that I can't redirect to a subdomain, there is nothing in the CNAME how to on godaddy that says I can't. It says in there example blog then mydomain.com.
So why can't I get this CNAME working.
Don't even use chat support, make a phone call instead. The chat service is useless and crap.

Hello GeGeek, I hope you are doing well. I respect your opinion but GoDaddy cares of its customers. You can access GoDaddy chat by clicking on the "Product Support" link at the bottom of our United States homepage. You may have to manually change the region you're located in, to the United States if you're not located in the US.
The chat button may not appear if the chat queue is super busy. You can leave your browser open to the chat page and the chat button will reappear when the queue becomes available. Chat hours are available Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 6 PM (Arizona, USA time zone: GMT-7:00).
