ads.txt file redirecting to my homepage

I have added an ads.txt file through Blogger, but it redirects to my actual blog homepage, rather than the actual ads.txt file. Is there anything I should fix on GoDaddy to fix this? It only goes to the ads.txt file when I type in: https://www.sewmuchlovemary.com/ads.txt, but not when I type in https://sewmuchlovemary.com/ads.txt

This is going to be something on the Google side with the server configuration and how it's doing the redirect.

It looks like your www is a CNAME to Google where without it is a bunch of IP addresses

I recall another service having a similar setup, what had to be done was to setup forwarding in the GoDaddy dns to https://www.sewmuchlovemary.com/

Then keep your CNAME for the www the way it is to the google URL

This should then leave you with one A record for @ pointed to a GoDaddy IP address and if someone types in without the www it should then forward correctly

Thank you for the reply @PL281! How do I go about doing this? Is it the bottom right corner where it says "Forwarding" on the "DNS Management" page?

That is correct - just make sure to remove the extra Google IP Address A records
