How to take back my domain? - BLACKMAIL EXTORTION

Hello everyone,

unfortunately, I am writing here as I'm having issues with my own domain which was transferred to another godaddy account without my authorization.

Now these persons are blackmailing me to have it back, what can I do? I didn't authorize it!
I have all the proofs.

Thanks

@MLC1,

What exactly do you mean? Who transferred it? Blackmail? Could you show us the 'ransom note'?

@MLC1,

Cruzata technologies (from india) is a company that was supposed to finish our website luxemar.io but (not delivering) they took our down payment and kept the domain that they transferred to their godaddy!

Hi @MLC1,

I found it only briefly and now can't. I saw enough though to see you are based in Wales UK, is this correct?

Re: How to take back my domain? - BLACKMAIL EXTORTION

Hi @MLC1,

the only folk who can help you clear this up for you speedily are support. They too will have proof of who registered the domain name, payments, account numbers etc.

You will need to be able to provide proof, but this isn't to mistrust you or what you are claiming, but just a precautionary security measure and is standard practice. This shouldn't be a problem for you.

Please in future count this as a lesson not to be tempted by 'offers of a website build service' that sounds too good to be true. Often from Asian companies by email as soon as you register a domain. I guarantee that most are scams along with SEO offerings.........

I hope you get in touch with support asp on this.

Re: How to take back my domain? - BLACKMAIL EXTORTION

Well the thing is that we didn't use that as our is a webapp and not a website.

I completely understand this and i'm ready to give all the NECESSARY proofs.
We've found these guys on upwork and they were supposed to fix some bugs (and didn't do it) and took down payment + domain.

I've contacted godaddy too, hopefully they can help!
