Moving domain from Wix to GoDaddy and will it affect company Gsuite email accounts?

I have a query and have seen some similar responses, but not exact to my circumstances.

We have a Wix domain we want to transfer to GoDaddy. We have company Gsuite email accounts associated with the domain, but they are not with Wix, they are direct with Gsuite.

I found this article below, however, Wix advise on their site that nameservers cannot be changed.

https://au.godaddy.com/community/Domain-Transfers/Domain-and-Hosting-transfer-with-no-downtime/m-p/1...

Is there anything i need to do to ensure the emails stay active and dont have any downtime? Or, as they are billed direct with Gsuite - they won't be affected by the move?

thanks so much, your advice is greatly appreciated.

I prefer to separate changing the nameservers from the transfer but if that's not possible you can still setup the DNS ahead of time.  If you are going to have a website with GoDaddy go ahead and add the domain in the settings, if not use DNS Hosting instead.

Either way you'll get a zone file for the domain that is not active yet, but you can edit whats needed and make sure to double check the settings.
