@dumon92 Are you receiving any type of error message? This will help me to determine the problem.

@dumon92 Again, are you receiving any error messages? Did you transfer process start at Godaddy? If so, what does the status of the transfer say?

@dumon92 Ok, you said that the domain name was sold on Godaddy auction. Typically once the domain name is sold on auction and the domain name is held at another registrar the funds are held for 5-7 days. You can go into your "Sold" tab in Godaddy auctions and it will state a status, usually "funds received, authorization pending." Nothing has to be done at this time, the transfer is automatically initaited by Godaddy when the domain name is sold. Once the funds have cleared you will receive an email from Godaddy with further instructions.

@justingodfrey, thank you so much, I have the last question: I received a message from transfers@godaddy.com, they said
"If the steps are not completed, the domain name(s) listed below will NOT be transferred to us."

@dumon92 Try going into your domain manager, then going to "transfers" and seeing if the domain name is listed. I'm assuming this information has to be sent to the buyer though. Once the funds have cleared you'll be able to login to Godaddy, go to your "sold" tab in the auctions interface and click on "email buyer" and send them the transfer codes contained in that email. This will allow them to complete the transfer to Godaddy.

Re: Transferring a domain won at auction

I have purchased & requested 2 domain transfers but they are still stock, One of them is asking to make the domain public and the other is telling me that the "Transaction ID" is already been used but the domain statues didn't change is still asking for "Transaction ID" ??

These domains have bean registered a long time ago in 2009 for a local news website for our town and for a Media Research organization and now we are able to make our developers work on these sites instead of a local company and the domain transfer is the only thing stopping us right now.
