Title and Description tags not showing up in search engine section

I was working on updating the title and description tags for the metas in the search engine section the other day and mid way thru one of the product categories the title and description tag sections were missing and couldn't be updated, all that was being shown in the search engine was the link for the product itself. Tried on a computer and tablet and still have the same issue and have no clue what caused it. Would appreciate if someone could help figure out what happened especially if this has happened to someone else. Thanks

Re: Title and Description tags not showing up in search engine section

    Hello

There are many situations where the search engines won't display your title tag or meta description. Here are a few potential scenarios:

    • The title or meta description you specified isn't relevant to the search query.
    • The title or meta description you specified is too short or too long.
    • The title or meta description you specified is not an accurate reflection of what your page is really about.
    • There are multiple occurrences of a title or meta description specified in your HTML code.
    • You haven't specified a title or meta description.
    • The search engine is ignoring your title or meta description and pulling information from elsewhere, such as Open Directory Project.
