A strange case of domain redirection (or a virus?)

Hi guys ---

I have this strange error on two of my websites. Let me give you some background info first:

1. I have a Deluxe Web Hosting Linux account with 2 wordpress implemented in the site.

2. They both work fine ... www.requena.org.mx and www.elsyreyes.com

Here is my problem:

If you open google.com and in the search box of google you type requena.org.mx my site will appear on the results.

When you clic on the result it show a 500 internal server error.

But if you refresh the page it works fine!

I've tried to sniff the data sent and it goes from google to the site.

I've checked the site for viruses and it is clean.

It is very strange what is happening ... I've already tried to contact godaddy support and they didn't have a clue ... tried to sell me SEO for the site Smiley Sad

I'm attaching screenshots of the error.

Please, help me out here to find the solution to this problem. Thanks in advance.Screenshot_1.pngScreenshot_2.pngScreenshot_3.png

It's working for me.

Something similar happened to me before... It had something to do with cache

Really?

It doesn't work for me. Can you try and click the first result?

https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=5hHvXPHbJsi8sAXflpO4Bw&q=requena.org.mx&oq=requena&gs_l=p...

the uri is requena.org.mx/english

It doesn't work if I click it from google but it does work if I type it directly on the browser.

Yeah, that's odd...

Can you download a copy of your .htaccess for backup then delete it from your server?

Your other option is to reset your htaccess via your wordpress wp-admin which probably isnt working right now. Is it?

@krees

Can you take a look at your error log it should be showing what the exact error is - it could be something as simple as increasing the memory for the server

Re: A strange case of domain redirection (or a virus?)

The site works fine if I access it directly in the browser bar.

The issue only appears if I click on the results from google.

The page is not a wordpress site, is html only.

Where do I find the error log in the GoDaddy Deluxe Linux webhosting?

It should be in the public_html folder which you can get to from the file manager
