How to upgrade beyond php 5.6

I am trying to upgrade the php version on my shared hosting.

In cPanel, I can only see two options 5.4 and 5.6.  How can I upgrade to the latest Php version (at least 7)?

Re: How to upgrade beyond php 5.6

This looks like an HCC based plan, instead of cPanel.  Unfortunately HCC plans are legacy products, you would need to switch plans to get the latest offering.

Though I strongly recommend not canceling the old hosting until you're able to verify the migration to the new hosting has gone according to plan.  You can simply change the domain in the old hosting to old.yourdomain.com to free it up for the new hosting plan.

Thanks.

What are HCC plans? I can see right now this site is on Economy Wordpress
hosting.

Does this mean if i purchase a Wordpress Managed hosting plans with GoDaddy
I can select a higher version of PHP?

Thanks!

Yes.  The Managed WordPress plans are a little restrictive but they come with additional tools and features, you could also install WordPress in a regular Web Hosting account.
