When creating a new database I see the "Allow Direct Access" option, however I am unable to select allow. The cursor turns into a "no" symbol.

Sounds like you may have another feature turned on your hosting plan that prevents the option to setup your database with remote access enabled. You should reach out to our live support so our hosting team can look at the account and confirm what it is and help you to enable remote access.

When trying to create a new database my 'allow direct access' options get greyed-out and I can find no other settings options to make them selectable.
My last 45-minute tech support wait-call resulted in a rep who did not have any knowledge of how to turn direct access on for a pre-existing database.
How can this be resolved? Thanks!
