Remove Hash-bang

I run a business website using Spreadshirt and for some reason the URL has hash-bang in my address bar. The URL has a /#! at the end of it. The people at Spreadshirt said it's because GoDaddy isn't compatible with their code and I can fix it by editing the .htaccess file, but my website doesn't have an .htaccess file and they didn't tell me what to do to fix it. How do I create an .htaccess file and what do I do to get rid f the hash-bang?

Re: Remove Hash-bang

The Spreadshirt JavaScript dynamically changes the URL to keep track of what content to load.  I believe that causes a compatibility issue with the GoDaddy website builder platform that you wouldn't be able to get around.  If you're using Linux hosting you can create an .htaccess file, using a plain text editor the file just needs to contain your alterations and save as ".htaccess".  Here is some more info I found. https://www.spreadshirt.net/forum/t/hashbang-aus-url/4368/2
