SEV tool can not find sitemap.xml althoug file have been created and uploaded  in the web server.It does not see it and it displays message : A sitemap file was not found

Hi @panoska,

Firstly, are you sure your sitemap is in the correct website directory public_html;

secondly you may wish to take a look and read of how to correctly write a sitemap in xml here:

https://www.sitemaps.org

Follow these steps and you should be good to go. Don't deviate from the correct formatting.

my sitemap.xml was visible at first...problem started when i installed Yoast for my Worpdress site. When i decided to delete Yoast and use Godaddy SEV tool again  there was the message of missing sitemap.xml
