Shared Hosting Use Third Party SSL Certificate Via SSH/Shell on server

On VPS/similar hosting it would be a simple matter of putting the certificate in and restarting httpd, but that is not possible on shared hosting. Is it possible to use/renew an SSL certificate (ie refresh httpd so it sees the new cert) purely relying on SSH access to the server? That is, not using cPanel or anything to upload the certificate, etc. manually.

Hi @Allydra, thanks for posting.

When using cPanel web hosting, SSL certificates can only be installed through cPanel. Installing them manually through SSH is not supported.
