Subdomain Pending since last year

I have Deluxe Web Hosting Linux

https://www.godaddy.com/help/add-a-subdomain-to-my-linux-hosting-account-19991

Tried to add subdomain from cpanel, creating subdomains pending since last year!

https://www.godaddy.com/help/create-a-subdomain-4080

Tried this solution; looks like kinda working, when I type subdomain.mydomain.com a page opens and on the top left corner says

pageok

So how am I going to redirect this subdomain to the folder on my host? Not even one single solution or explanation.

Please do not suggest me to talk with to technical support team:

1. It's almost impossible to reach a real human.

2. Even if you reach a real human they say already fixed but nothing works, you can read other posts from other users as well.

So if there a suggestion like edit "this" file on your root directory, or go to this setting do this I'm open for that. If not goodbye Godaddy enough is enough since 2009.

Unfortunately with the old Linux Hosting (this is NOT cPanel) GoDaddy support is the only way to get this resolved. This isn't just editing a file on the server / file manager - the domain has to be mapped to the account (hence the reason you get pageok)

My suggestion would be to migrate to a cPanel server which will increase your performance as well as make life easier with things like subdomains.

Hi @Robertoid,

Welcome to the Community!

Due to the legacy nature of an older Linux account, all instructions for adding domains and folders to the file manager, can be found in the PDF found in this link. GoDaddy has now compiled those help files in this one document.

"migrate to a cPanel server" my hosting plan has cPanel but I guess that's also an old version. Any suggestion which one I should migrate? I heard Dreamhost is good(?)

@Robertoid

GoDaddy had their own in house control panel for their servers - This is the Linux Deluxe hosting.  Now the new servers have the industry standard cPanel (or Plesk if you prefer)

These are 2 VERY different things and different platforms - the newer servers have newer PHP / Newer hardware and many other features.
