Support for asp.net core for cpanel linux server?

Hello, I tried to publish an ASP.NET Core 3.0 web application to cpanel via FTP. But I noticed I didn't receive anything on file manager. I tried to do my research and read somewhere that it would not work because .net core has to be installed on the linux server, even though asp.net core supports linux. Is this why I didn't receive anything on file manager? If so, will there be any support for asp.net core 3.0 in the future?

Ok, so I have done my research and it looks like godaddy is using Plesk Onyx 17.8 and thus, it only supports asp.net core 2.0 and below. The error I got when deploying asp.net core 3.0 is "Handler "aspNetCore" has a bad module "AspNetCoreModuleV2" in its module list

". So for the moment I will probably just use ASP.NET. But, I would like to see Plesk Obsidian 18.0 on godaddy in the near future.

Hello @alextech1 and welcome to the Community!

Currently Plesk is the available hosting option that supports ASP.NET. Here is a link to the list of software versions installed on hosting accounts: https://www.godaddy.com/help/software-versions-installed-on-hosting-accounts-897

I would recommend reaching out to GoDaddy Support for an account review in regards to your hosting account, to verify that you are using a hosting account that meets all of your needs.

GoDaddy Support is available 24/7 via phone or chat!
