Add pop-up text box with Website Builder or HTML?

I'm trying to get my popup code to work within the website-builder using HTML section.  I can't get it to popup.

Here is the code i'm using:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="//downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/unique-methods/embed.js" data-dojo-config="usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false"></script><script type="text/javascript">window.dojoRequire(["mojo/signup-forms/Loader"], function(L) { L.start({"baseUrl":"mc.us20.list-manage.com","uuid":"9feb392e4fe10f3820a75f86d","lid":"1d2966af07","uniqueMethods":true}) })</script>

I've referenced this article below but it still doesn't work.  Any ideas?

Though HTML sections are how you can integrate with some 3rd party services, unfortunately it is not compatible with modal popups.

In GoCentral, there is currently no way to accomplish this. You may want to look in to using platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla for the additional functionality that you need.

@dimaschildGoCentral is simplified for beginners, it is limited as far as advanced customization.  I think of an HTML section like an "isolation chamber" in that the code is contained within that section, you can not add page level code.  So you could add a regular sign up form, but not one that appears over other content. (if you were to make the HTML section tall enough it could modal over the content of that section, not over the whole page like a traditional modal)

You may want to consider one of the options @MrVapor pointed out if you're looking for more flexibility as you would have more control over the code and they can be expanded with plugins.
