I can't believe this question is so difficult to answer, and yet no one else seems to be asking it. I've spent at least 7 hours on the phone with technical support, and three tickets that have been escalated to someone, resulting in email solutions that are all the same and don't actually work.
I have deleted a product from my online store. That product had 5 color options, which created 5 individual SQUs in my Google marketplace channel and my Facebook marketplace channel. When I deleted the product, it unlinked the 5 SQUs from both marketplace channels, but the products are still listed in the marketplace listings. There must be a way to remove them from those listings, but I can't find a method for doing so. Tech support keeps wanting to know what error message I'm getting when I try to delete them. But I have yet to find a way to try to delete them. There just isn't an obvious button or menu choice for deleting an item.
By the way, I'm looking at the GoDaddy marketplace listings. I'm not having trouble deleting items from my Google Merchant account or my Facebook page. I can delete them there, but if I re-publish from GoDaddy, they will get re-created on those sites. Yes, I can deselect those products when I re-publish, but I shouldn't have to do that. Over time, I may end up with more deleted (unlinked) products than good products.
Replying to my own post again. I just deleted the Google marketplace from my GoDaddy marketplaces, then recreated it. When I published my online store products to the new Google marketplace channel, all of the old deleted products came back. Those products don't even exist in my online store, yet they are still active in the marketplace listing (although unlinked to an actual online store product).
Hi @abcdda - I'd like to get your case over to our product specialist support team to help. Are you attempting to delete items from the Marketplaces -> Products area, or Marketplaces -> Listings?
The Marketplaces -> Products area should always reflect your Online Store catalog, and while Listings cannot be deleted from the Listings tab they should move to Out of Stock or Inactive if they no longer have inventory or an Online Store product associated with them.
@ElliotK Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to delete items from the Marketplaces -> Listings area. The Marketplaces -> Products area updated itself when I deleted the product from my online store. But the associated products in the Marketplaces -> Listings area still show as active, yet have a disconnected link icon.
Thanks Brian - Marketplaces should be deactivating those listings where the Store product no longer exists, so I'm passing this over to the relevant team. I will update you here, or one of our ATS agents will be in touch.

@ElliotK , I checked my marketplaces listing right after you sent the above message. The Google marketplace is much better, but still has an unlinked item in the pending tab, along with another item that should have moved to the active tab some time ago but didn't. However, the main reason for contacting you again is that my Facebook marketplace is still showing a bunch of unlinked items as active. Shouldn't all of the marketplaces act the same way with regard to deleted products? In any event, I still can't figure out how to delete these products from the marketplace after having deleted them from the store.
