Deleting website from website builder and rebuilding with another program

I've hired a professional designer to redo my website I built on Godaddy Website Builder. She is using a different platform, Squarespace. Can I delete my Godaddy website and move the domain to Squarespace while letting Godaddy continue to host the domain?

Absolutely! All you would need to do is have the domain registered on our end pointed to the new host provider your site designer is planning to use for the new site.

Usually this just requires a nameserver update to the new host provider. If your designer has already provided the nameservers, you should be able to update those here.
