Website Viewing Issues

Dear community

How does one view a website after uploading files, do I need to do anything on the Web Root (public_html/www)

• I have registered a domain
• FTPed the web files to the web folder
• When I go to the web-page I get the following message

I'm sorted, looks like I had to dump files on the public_html folder.  Initially, what I had done was to have a folder with the name of the domain.

Hope putting them at the root that is the correct thing.
