adding file to root of website marketing

I need to upload a file to the root of my domain.  I have CPanel and wanted to know where the root is for the website marketing builder domain??  Thank you for an answer!

Websites & Marketing is a self-contained platform that includes it's own hosting separate from cPanel.  You wouldn't have access to upload a file to the root directory.  It sounds like this is for domain verification purposes, if so check if there's another option like adding a TXT record in the domain DNS settings.

You should be able to verify the domain after activating Google Analytics in your Site Settings.
