I note that Go daddy have auto renewed one of my products two weeks before the due date. I have therefore turned the auto renew option off on all my products. It is unacceptable to collect payment before the due date.
If you have a look at the agreement you just clicked "I Accept" on blindly you will probably see that clause in there? Technically it is supposed to give you a warning before the disruption of your service due to a charging issue. If the charge had not gone through you would have gotten an email warning and perhaps a call when they attempt to charge your card again if that one also didn't go through?
As strange as it sounds the early billing is to help you. I must admit I'm not a huge fan of any autopay either but it does serve some people well.
