    CDN is blocking website fonts - Urgent

    Hello,

    I am using managed Wordpress. My website icons are broken and showing as squares when CDN is enabled in Godaddy. When i disabled CDN, the website icons are back to normal.

    I am using Astra theme and i guess Astra.woff needs to be allowed when enabling CDN so that this issue does not happen again and i want to keep CDN enabled.

    So please suggest some solution as i have already reached Godaddy support team thrice but no solution provided at all!

    What is your domain name? I have a large number of sites on the platform and the only time i've seen that issue is with mixed content HTTP / HTTPS

    I have enabled it...thank you for your help😊

    Do you have anything in your htaccess file or a plugin that prevents Cross Origin??

    Here is something that is recommended to put into the htaccess if you don't have something that should correct for it

    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
      <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|woff|woff2|font.css|css|js)$">
        Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
      </FilesMatch>
    </IfModule>

    Do you have anything in your htaccess file or a plugin that prevents Cross Origin?? - I am sorry but i don't have any idea about it. When i checked with theme support team they mentioned that in Godaddy CDN, Astra.woff needs to be allowed.

    Here is something that is recommended to put into the htaccess if you don't have something that should correct for it - where should i put it? I don't know much about coding. Appreciate your help.

    This is very helpful @PL281! But I would like to know where exactly to input this coding as I am having the same issue with my custom fonts.

    @jazzyne

    That would get put into the .htaccess file in the root of the website

    Hello @PL281, we're also, unfortunately suffering the same issue:

    The CDN doesn't support CORS, there's no documentation on how to make it support, nor how to exclude files/assets from being served on the CDN—quite unflexible overall.

    We've added the provided snippet to our root .htaccess with no success: the direct URL does reply with the Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header, but the CDN URL does not.

    It would be great to have some sort of solution for this.
