Hello,
I need to enable SSL on my Managed WordPress Staging site.
I am using WooCommerce, and it requires SSL.
I want to do some testing prior to migration of the site to Production, but lack of SSL on the Staging site is preventing this.
Any information is most welcome.
Thanks in advance...

Hello bsashcraft , I hope you are doing well. Thanks for joining GoDaddy community. Though there isn’t an SSL certificate specifically made for WordPress, any trusted SSL certificate will work with WordPress blogs and sites. Think of a “WordPress SSL certificate” as an SSL certificate that simply works with WordPress.
If you are running an eCommerce website, then you absolutely need an SSL certificate specially if you are collecting payment information. Once you have purchased an SSL Certificate from GoDaddy, you would need to ask your web hosting provider to install it on your server.
On GoDaddy, a client had their domain forwarding to WP Engine using a domain forwarder at GoDaddy instead of an A Record. This created some difficulty getting the domain’s SSL installed at WP Engine. I removed the forwarder and set the A Record and CNAME at GoDaddy to point to the client’s WP Engine account, then added this domain at WP Engine and got the SSL installed on it.
