PHP Upload timeout has been changed without notice!

What use is an upload timeout of 1 minute for filesizes up to 100 Mb? We don't all have superfast Broadband but GoDaddy now imposes this limit on their customers and offer no help to overcome it. If anyone knows how, please share it because it seems like they're trying to push their customers away.

I'm just wondering where you are seeing the timeout being at 1 minute?

I have only ever tried to upload files over 100MB into backup plugins to restore them, otherwise i typically just use FTP

GoDaddy support told me it was set at that. I made a deal about it because it’s far too short.
    I get through roughly 25 % of a 16 mb PDF.
