Restore Individual website using Godaddy's Site Backups

Hi, how do I restore my site? I deleted a wordpress user and now my site is giving an error "Error: View 59297124i9 may not exist" http://www.voxnature.com/

Can you help me to restore the site? I am not tech-savvy so it's hard for me to just go in godaddy and backup because I don't even know the first step. Customer support is also very hard to reach.

Re: Restore Individual website using Godaddy's Site Backups

    Hey, @Sashya,

First off, you might want to take a look here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-view-d9933fcr3v-may-not-exist/.  It might give you some insight.  Assuming the admin view still works, look at the page that is your "Home" page, and see if there's a short-code that is causing the problem.  If so... no need to restore.

I'm afraid you're probably not going to have any luck getting a "GoDaddy site backup".  Sorry... that's the way things are in the hosting world.

    Are you:

    • Doing manual backups regularly?
    • Using Managed WordPress Hosting with GoDaddy doing daily backups?
    • Using ManageWP.com and getting their backups.

If you're not doing any of this... you'll want to set it up (or have someone do it for you) so you'll have reliable backups which can be easily restored.
