Adding RFC 6594 SSHFP to DNS for a Domain

nbsp;
If there is a way to add the SSHFP type via import I would take that as well... (I admittedly haven't tried that yet)

I would like to add SSH Fingerprints to my hosts for more protection. Is there any idea on if / when these types of records would be available via the DNS manager?

Hello @wall111

I believe that is handle by DNSSEC. Checkout this GoDaddy article on how to add a record:

No that is not the answer DNSSEC is not an SSHFP record.

Hi @wall111. Thanks for posting. Our Neither our regular DNS Manager or DNSSEC in our system supports that type of record currently. Sorry Man Sad
