Was on hold for 40 mins there before i gave up, so thought I would ask here.
My domain is due for renewal at the end of this month,I no longer require web hosting as this the website/email etc is hosted elsewhere.
I was wanting to move the domain to my new provider but due the fact that I have updated my Domain contact Info I believe I will be unable to move before renewal.
I only require the domain to be with godaddy and name servers pointing to my current provider. Is this something godaddy offers. I don't want to be paying for web hosting that I no longer use. I can't really get a clear answer when looking on the website and the chat is offline.
Hi @halocomm. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! If you want to host your domain's DNS with your Web Hosting provider, you would just need to update your domain to use their nameservers. You would not need to have Web Hosting through GoDaddy if you want to do this. Hope that helps.
