Domain Lock

Yesterday I changed Domain Lock: from Off(edit) to Off(pending update)

I received a web message saying it was successful but when I look today it's back to Off(edit).

How do you lock a domain?

You can use these instructions to apply the standard transfer lock to your domain. You may want to take this action in a private/incognito browsing window to avoid caching, especially if you have tried this multiple times. 

1. Log into your GoDaddy account.
2. Click on your profile in the upper right corner.
3. Choose "My Products" in the drop-down menu.
4. The first box should be "Domains"; click on "Manage All" to the right, within that box.
5. Click the option in the area to the right to the Advanced List view. (lines with dots)
6. If you don't have a "Lock" column, you can add one in the "Edit Columns" drop down
7. You can toggle the lock to "On" here.

You should also be able to make this change in the Domain Settings page for that specific domain. At the bottom off your options there you'll see "Domain Lock", with the option to "Edit".
