Hi all,
There was a thread running: https://www.godaddy.com/community/Managing-Domains/Domain-Renewal-Date-Format-Can-I-change-it/td-p/1...
Alas, that thread was marked as solved and closed, without checking first as to whether the "solution" really solved the problem. In summary, the "solution" was to use the AU regional site and hope that the date format reflected my actually geographic location. While that partially works, it appears that account management functionality is handled by US servers so that when I check my renewals, I'm redirected from au.godaddy.com to account.godaddy.com/renewals. The dates on that renewals page are the non-standard mm-dd-yyyy format.
I can't seem to attach a screen shot but loading the above two URLs should demonstrate that using a regional site is ineffective and doesn't solve the problem.
Please let me know if I'm done something stupid and/or missed the point.
Thanks,
Tim.
