Domain Transfer from Wordpress

Hello,

If I transfer my domain from wordpress to godaddy, would anything about my site be affected? Also, is there a service with godaddy that would do it completely for me or would I have to do it myself?

Also, what might be the pros and cons of doing this transfer of domain?
