Domain renewal date - a little confused.

Good afternoon all, I wonder if anyone can help?

I'm a little confused with the date system on the Godaddy renewals, it shows the date as 01/03/2018 but it doesn't state anywhere whether that is January 3rd 2018 or March 1st 2018, I suspect its the latter but is there anyway to double check this or change the date format within my profile?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

@Jay_D It depends on what your region is set to on Godaddy. An easier way would be to look at the whois information at http://who.godaddy.com and type in your domain. Here is an example of a domain I own:

Registrar URL: http://www.godaddy.com
Updated Date: 2017-12-30T15:27:33Z
Creation Date: 2017-01-06T20:11:32Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2019-01-06T20:11:32Z

This is displayed in the YYYY-DD-MM format so my domain's expiration date is January 6th, 2019. This is typically universal in the whois database.
