Domain transfer and DNS records

I need to transfer a couple domains from 1 GoDaddy account to another.  When I follow the steps to transfer the domain will the DNS records transfer with the domain or do I need to export the zone file from the source account, then transfer the domain, then import the zone file to the domain after the transfer.   Will there be downtime with the domain transfer or the importing of the zone file?

If you are doing an account change (vs a transfer) the DNS moves with it - Other services (email / hosting / others) do not
