Forwarding Hack?

For some reason, when my customers are using my main domain name www.xxxxxxx.com, which is forwarded to another URL, some codes are being appended after the index.html at the end of the URL, causing it to fail. This happens with multiple customers.

For example, if the Domain name is www.1234.com, and this forwards to www.5678.net/HOSTEDSITES/mysitename/index.html
it is appending random codes to the end such as:

www.5678.net/HOSTEDSITES/mysitename/index.html/foQXY

or

www.5678.net/HOSTEDSITES/mysitename/index.html/foQXY/TOOQZ/

I tried re-uploading the index.html file - which seemed to fix it for a couple of days, but now it is back again.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this please?

Cheers, Milbournes.

Re: Forwarding Hack?

Hi @milbournes, thanks for posting.

What you are seeing is part of the security filtering for Forwarding. It shouldn't affect your visitors' ability to access your site.
