Host Record TTL values for TXT Record on another Host

Hi, I am trying to sell my domain name appricity.com but I have it registered on Hostmonster and Godaddy tells me to add some txt record. Does anyone know what we write to host record and TTL fields?

Thanks

Try @ for the host first, if that doesn't work try www.

TTL is just a number, 3600 is usually the default.

Thank you i also found what they meant later on my host. ttl was in seconds and godaddy took longer to check them that's why it was still pending.

i wrote @ for host and ttl 600000 that is enough for a week long check possibility.

Sounds good, but TTL means time till live.  Though for the most part they seem to be ignored in practice they're suppose to signify a start time, rather than an end time.
