How to add a Secondary A record ONLY using Go Daddy Premium DNS

With the Go Daddy Premium DNS, how would you go about setting up a failover A record.  For example, if I have a primary A record that is used to resolve IP to 1.1.1.1 for mail.  If reachability to this IP is unreachable, then and only then to have a failover A record resolve to IP 2.2.2.2 for mail.  The remaining DNS configuration including name servers, MX records and other A records (@) are not needed for secondary DNS.

Hi @mseppeler. Thanks for posting.

I'm sorry to say, but Premium DNS doesn't support failover DNS. Setting something like this up wouldn't be possible using only Premium DNS. You would need an additional or alternate tool/service.

Re: How to add a Secondary A record ONLY using Go Daddy Premium DNS

Ok, that's upsetting.  When I called in last week to inquire about how to set this up, I was provided that I would need Premium DNS for this.  I made the purchase and then provided a link to follow in setting this up.  It was a purchase that I did not need and now I need to pursue an additional or alternate tool/service for this.
