I have just signed up my website with GoDaddy on the Express plan for security. To activate the Firewall, GoDaddy want me to get my domain pointed to their IP address. My current domain provider (DotEasy) recommends not doing this, as the website may lose functionality. Any suggestions or recommendations..? Thanks
That one is actually kind of tough as their hosting environment might not be compatible.
That being said, you're just changing the IP address to use the Firewall IP instead of the IP for the site. The IP for the site will be in the firewall settings, so it should know where to go to pull and display your site info without much of a hiccup.
