Preventing email from wordpress site going to spam.

Hi there,

My client has their domain here (londonboatrental.com) as well as their email through Office 365. We are hosting the site on Cloudways and are having trouble with their emails being routed to spam. I added SPF records but resulted in an error stating that my server on Cloudways is not authorized to originate emails. We are using the latest version of wordpress and using phpmailer to send the mail from info@londonboatrental.com.

Does anybody know how I fix this to ensure email delivery? Thank you!

I find regardless of host I tend to use Amazon SES for outbound email from the server - it is API connection from the server to Amazon and therefore bypasses any SMTP blocks. Additionally as Amazon is domain / email authenticated it tends to gets past spam filters as well.
