SSL certificate generated with wrong CSR

Hi, I was trying to renew my SSL certificate for an ASA 5585, I thought that with the previous CSR, generated 3 years ago, it was going to work so it was generated with that CSR, but when I installed it on the ASA, it asks me to create a new one. Generates a new CSR completely different, so when I'm trying to install it I get an error because they clearly do not match. Can I generate another certificate without cost? Or what can I do?

Hello @sam23!

Thank you for posting! All you'd need to do in this situation is rekey the certificate with the new CSR. Here's our guide on rekeying an SSL Certificate
