Transfer to Godaddy without modifying nameservers

Hello,

I would like to confirm my case, because it's important to avoid any DNS related services interruptions during the domain transfer process and different support agents provide contradictory information.

We have a domain at ionos.com which we plan to transfer to GoDaddy. It has a custom  dnsmadeeasy nameservers at this moment. Current version of a domain transfer tool doesn't have any options related to DNS. What is the default behaviour during this process? Would we still have our custom dnsmadeeasy NS or the system resets them to Godaddy NS after the transfer process is completed?

Any recommendations to avoid DNS related services interruptions for that domain name during the transfer are welcome. Thank you!

I just recently transferred 2 domains from Network Solutions to GoDaddy and the DNS servers remained as is as part of the transfer.

Thank you! A small update. We moved the domain and DNS servers were not changed (at Godaddy we can see "Using custom nameservers"). There were no any services interruption during the transfer process.
