Upload HTML file to the Root directory

Does anyone know how to add a html file to your root directory?

You haven't mentioned what platform you are on.

If it is a cPanel or Managed WordPress website there is the file manager which allows you to upload files

 

If it is Websites & Marketing - by nature of this platform you are not able to FTP / upload files in that sense to the site

The website platform I am using is WIX.com and domain is from GoDaddy.

Based on looking at https://support.wix.com/en/article/viewing-your-site-files-in-your-media-manager 

 

I don't believe WIX allows you to upload HTML files - If there is something specific you need in Wix - I suggest reaching out to their support
