Why are domain renewals costs not displayed anywhere in account information?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you select "renew" it will take you to the cart where you can see the renewal price.
Thanks @DocTony! Is there a reason why the prices are not listed on the accounts?
I don't know (I don't work for GoDaddy).
Sneaky godaddy hiding the cost until it's too late and you have to pay it
I wouldn't say GoDaddy is hiding it, but they don't make it obvious.
You have to go to your cart here:
https://cart.godaddy.com/go/checkout?#/
From there, you can see the prices without actually having to buy anything.
I agree the prices should be listed on your products page.

Anyone know where you can change the length of the renewal, such as from 5 years to 1 year?
Hi @photobabs. Thanks for posting. This is a somewhat contested question. Essentially, your domain will always renew for the same amount of time it was initially registered for if automatic renewal is used. This can not be changed. However, if you have a domain that's registered for 1 year and you want to make sure it's always kept at 2 years or more, you can use the Extended auto-renew feature. In your case, if you do not want to automatically renew for 5 years, you would need to manually renew the domain. Sorry
Good Day! Still does not tell me where I can see the renewal price for my domain.
The "Renewal Price" is not in the list of my edit columns, per info from a video I watched in the GoDaddy help area. Thanks for any info! Randal
