"Recipient not found" with email server (Posfix) on GoDaddy domain/server

I have domain name at GoDaddy, which is used as the name of  my multiple-purpose server. Web server works fine without any additional settings at GoDaddy. I expected email server (postfix) should also work without any additional settings. Is it true? Or I should correct/add a record at GoDaddy? Sending and receiving messages withing domain is fine, but if I sent e-mail from gmail I got "Recipient not found".

Hi @etikhomolov, welcome to the community! Smiley Happy

I assume you are on a VPS or dedicated server, right?

In my case, I had to configure it myself on my VPS.

Put it's probably an MX record in your DNS.

Yes, this is dedicated server. I had bouncing from GoDaddy's

 smtp.secureserver.net

So I corrected it to my domain/server and now I am waiting for 48 hours for the record to be updated
