I recently purchased WebHosting services from GoDaddy. I already created email accounts via cPanel (non-Office 365 email). I am currently using Outlook from Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019. I cannot for the life of me use IMAP settings to setup my email account on my Outlook. If the “Receiving” works, the “Sending” does not. If the “Sending” works, the mails are not “Receiving” anymore, even though I do not change the incoming settings at all. Just absolutely frustrating. I was hoping someone would be able to guide me through this process as I am very green at this.
These are the following items that are required to setup an account in Outlook 2019:
Username: (I assume this is the email address)
Password: (I assume this is the password set via cPanel)
Incoming Server:
Incoming Port:
Incoming: Option that says “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)”
Incoming: Option that says “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)”
Outgoing Server:
Outgoing Port:
Outgoing: Encryption Method:
Outgoing: Server Timeouts:
Outgoing: Option that says “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)”
Outgoing: My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication
