Email Access in Outlook

Hi     I have recently purchased domain and web hosting from go daddy.com.

Using this domain name I created a paid account with google like myname@mydomain.com and now trying to configure it with outlook. But it does not help me have email setup.

It ask me to get permission from administrator of domain to allow it to be used with outlook or thirparty email client.

Does some one know what the setting on domain need to be changed to have it access from outlook

Best Regards

Tariq

@Tariq Are you using both Google mail and outlook? Instructions for setting up your mail in outlook are here: https://www.godaddy.com/help/using-the-outlook-setup-tool-2612

Unable to set up email account

Hello,

I have follow all the steps from this link https://www.godaddy.com/help/outlook-2007-on-windows-7-set-up-email-16550

But still unable to configure my email id on Outlook 2007.

Can anybody just simply tell me the POP and SMTP settings and server ports numbers.

Re: Unable to set up email account

I really can't believe I'm answering this as I've had nothing but problems since I had to start using Outlook through Go-Daddy, in fact am searching out a new website hosting services just to try to have less stress. I loved the old email set up , but I have missed business and had so much stress with the change over.

Anyway, during my travels, this is the information that I have that was given to me to use at one time.

Incoming server (POP3): pop.secureserver.net

110,995 (SSL)

Incoming server (IMAP): imap.secureserver.net

80,353525,465 (SSL)

Re: Unable to set up email account

I'm with you. I'm going to transfer my domain hosting to 101Domain. Way too much stress. And I will bet it's a major pain in the neck to transfer a domain away from GD. Bets? Screw GD.

Re: Unable to set up email account

I feel your pain. I've been with GoDaddy probably about 15 years now. It's really not the company itself, it's all these young techs they keep hiring that have zero customer service skills. I have watched it change over the years. I'm  saying this because moving to another host will likely give you similar issues.

Anyway, I have a support forum I'm trying to get going. So if you do stick around, and you have any issues, maybe stop by my site and see if I can help you any.

And sometimes (and this works too) sometimes you just have to hang up, call back, and get a better agent on the other end of the line. There seems to be huge gap...they have some (one or two) that are literally wizards/geniuses that I have learned much from, and then they just have some young dopes earning a paycheck.

Oops, almost forgot the link (if they don't block or remove it) https://everythingit.us
