Outgoing email not sending. Getting error message "The connection to the server has failed".

My outgoing mails are not going. I get the following error message :

The connection to the server has failed.

Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013


Hey @AB55,


That error could be a couple of different things.  It could be your firewall blocking the email, could be a port issue, or even could be an issue where you do not have "My server requires authentication" checked.


I would perhaps change your outgoing port to 80 first to see if that helps, and if not, go back through your settings to ensure they're correct.
