Re: Problems in receiving mails

Hi @Malkhawaja85

Thank you for your post. Which email platform are you using? (cpanel, Office 365, workspace)

From doing a DNS lookup it seems the MX records are setup for cpanel email. Is this the platform you are trying to receive emails through. Also, are checking incoming mail through an email client such as outlook or apple mail or are you checking mail from the webmail interface?

Best Wishes!

Re: Problems in receiving mails

Hi @Malkhawaja85

Thank you for the reply. Since you are using workspace the DNS on the domain will need to be updated. The "Mail" A record will need to be removed and the MX records will need to be updated to the proper workspace MX records for your region.  Please check your email plan for the region and use one of the corresponding pairs below:

US region

Host = @
Name = smtp.secureserver.net
Priorty = 0

Host = @
Name = mailstore1.secureserver.net
Priorty = 10

Asia/Pacific region

Host = @
Name = smtp.asia.secureserver.net
Priorty = 0

Host = @
Name = mailstore1.asia.secureserver.net
Priorty = 10

Europe region

Host = @
Name = smtp.europe.secureserver.net
Priorty = 0

Host = @
Name = mailstore1.europe.secureserver.net
Priorty = 10

After the update and allowing propagation time, email will route as expected.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Malkhawaja85

Thank you for the reply. To update the DNS records please take the following steps:

1. Login to your GoDaddy account

2. At the top of the page click My Products

3. Go to the Domains row click Manage All

4. On the next page , at the the top click DNS then Mange Zones

5. Type the domain in the field and click the domain name in the drop down

6. Here is the records for the DNS

7. Click the Pencil icon to edit the corresponding records above and either change the information in the fields or click the Trash icon to delete the entire record.
