Wordpress contact form - email not received

Hi,

Messages from my wordpress contact form should be reaching my godaddy email but I'm receiving nothing, though otherwise this email account works fine. Can you please help?

my domain is kitchenhood.ch.

What hosting plan are you using?

Here's a guide that shows you what your MX records should be.

Also, do you use office 365 or workspace for email for your domain?

Then it seems my MX isn't correct as per the guidance. Someone else set it up for me so I don't know if there's a reason for that. Should I change it? (of course I have no idea how!)

@botnino Oh, I see... can you check something for me?

I need you to go to your domains panel, click at the [...] icon at the right of your domain and select Manage DNS. Then take a screenshot, or copy and paste the DNS records, and post them here?

If you take a screenshot, use a service like https://imgbb.com/ to post it, since the images have to be approved by a mod before being shown to other users.

I guess the server tries to send the email, but it's getting rejected by office365.

Hi @botnino, thanks for the info.

Let's try with this. Add to your DNS records, these entries:

TXT	@	v=spf1 a mx ptr include:secureserver.net -all
TXT	admin	v=spf1 a mx ptr include:secureserver.net -all

And check if that works.

If after a few hours it doesn't work, you can delete those records, so it gets back as it was before.

Let me know if that solves it!

I added the two DNS lines last night but this morning the form still doesn't work..

As mentioned the change in DNS records didn't help, but I found this video online and that fixed the problem! Perhaps this would also help others.

Oh no! 

That solution worked for a few minutes but again no messages are coming through...
