Deployment and Git

Hi, why is git not supported for Plesk on Godaddy?

What deployment strategy should I use for a website I am building and have it source controlled with git?

Probably very close to 100% of developers use git for source control, it doesn't make sense to me that I can't work with my git repositories and be able to deploy to my Godaddy hosting.

It sounds like you just need to move from a shared server to a VPS or Dedicated server so you can control the hosting environment. GoDaddy places several security restrictions on what can connect to their shared hosting environment in order to minimize compromises.
