Dear experts,
To be able to send emails using our SMTP server, I have installed a certificate on my client machine (Windows 10). The certificate is not expired. It is issued by Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2. I can see that I have it installed also. I use the right certificate name. And yet I keep receiving errors:
System.Net.Security.SslPolicyErrors.RemoteCertificateNameMismatch | System.Net.Security.SslPolicyErrors.RemoteCertificateChainErrors
System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509ChainStatusFlags.UntrustedRoot
A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.
Could you please help and guide me to fix this issue?
Thanks.
Hi @dpreznik,
Thanks for posting. Are you trying to install it on a 3rd party server? Feel free to provide more details on the type of hosting you have so others in the Community can offer suggestions.
