How to add wildcard ssl to subdomain like *.subdomain.domain.com
We need to get a new wildcard certificate and add it to a specific subdomain of our main domain. What are the steps to making this happen? After purchasing an SSL I kow it's possible to add it to a main domain but I don't see the option to add it to a sub domain.
You can add unlimited subdomains to a wildcard SSL. But that will be for anything to the left of the dot-common name. You are not able to create another level of subdomain onto an already existing subdomain, unless the subdomain is "www", and the common name requested with the "www". You can read more about that here.
