Hello, appreciate some advice on ssl installation. I have deployed my app on heroku and at the same time, my domain name and ssl certificates are with GoDaddy. I am not able to get the "lock" symbol for my domain after trying different approaches. The error messages (on heroku) are "DNS redirect not forwarding path" and "Unable to resolve DNS for secure.example.com". Please help....

I hope you are well. Thank you for posting in GoDaddy community. Sometimes caching can be the issue with newly installed certificates. Please go to www.whynopadlock.com and enter your website to check the reason.
Also check that you installed the SSL certificate correctly.
Thanks, but I can't resolve it yet. I still cant get my SSL on my website. Is there any specific instruction for step-by-step guide?
Hi Yin, I have similar issues but at least my Heroku app has the lock symbol now.
What you need to do is export the GoDaddy SSL certificate. Take the SSL certificates and concatenate the two certs into a master cert and upload that to Heroku ssl endpoint. Don't forget to add the domains to your heroku app. You should now get a lock symbol on `https://www.yourdomain.com`.
In GoDaddy create a CNAME record for www to goes to the heroku DNS endpoint for www. Then in the GoDaddy domain forward point www.yoursite.com instead of the heroku DNS endpoint.
